Google is Bringing a Revolution on 21st April 2015!

This is the era when we just sit back and relax because everything is in our hands. Or better say in our mobile; from finding an answer to buying a product.

This is what Google says:
“Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”

Well, including almost every one of us, research has found that 80% users use mobile rather than desktop. Hence, Google has declared that till 21st April 2015 every site should be either responsive or mobile friendly.

What is Responsive Site?
A responsive website is compatible for all devices. It perfectly fits to any measurement of device; be it mobile, tablet or desktop.

So what is Mobile Friendly site?
A mobile Friendly site is a new template for your site which can make your site readable and usable on Smart phones.

Ok, What if I ignore the update?
Simple, Google will ignore you. Remember that Google is doing this for your benefit. When the customers find your website not adequate on their devices, they leave your page. Therefore, update your site or else Google will bring down your rankings.

But how do I get to know if my site is mobile friendly?
Google has provided this service too. Just click on this link and enter your URL:
https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/?utm_source=wmc-blog&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=mobile-friendly.

If it is compatible on devices then a message would appear saying ‘Awesome!

This page is  ‘mobile-friendly’ and will show the mobile version of your site. Unfortunately if it is not, then it would say ‘Not mobile-friendly’ and a list of errors will appear, also it will show your mobile unfriendly version.

It says ‘Not mobile-friendly’. I want my site to get updated

Then don’t wait and contact Bohra Developers now. We will make sure that your site works on every device and your ranking won’t be effected; instead we will increase your rankings.
